CHII is the diminutive of the japanese word chiisai (= little). The collection presents modern compact pieces of furniture such as chair, bench, tables and accessories with an industrial yet friendly presence. The use of OSB (Oriented Strand Board) gives to pieces a specific strength. Moreover, OSB is an ecological material, made of recycled wood chips and special glue.

chiiの主素材であるOSB（配向性ストランドボード、Oriented Strand Board）。小さな木片が圧縮され生み出されるそのテクスチャーは無垢材とは違った木の力強さと魅力を感じる事ができます。そして、小さな木片を材料にできるOSBは合板や集成材よりも木材の利用率が高く、家具用材として使えない小径木や曲がっている木材も材料にできるため、現代の環境に配慮した素材と言えます。OSBを用いるchiiは、小さな木片で空間の隙間を彩る小さな家具・生活用品のブランドです。
